In our Hello CEO series, we are currently focusing on the war in Ukraine and the consequences for our member companies. Tunstall delivers technology-based solutions and services in health and social care and operates in 17 countries around the world. Tunstall Sweden CEO Johan Lenander says that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has affected the company both commercially and emotionally.

- We are seeing increased concern among our customers about cyber attacks, for example, and are receiving questions about how this could affect the solutions we offer. This is something we work with continuously and it is given extra focus now with the increased risk picture. We have no operations in Ukraine but have done what we can to assist with support to those affected. Some of us at Tunstall have ties to Ukraine through family and friends or are affected by the situation in other ways. I see a great commitment from our employees, which I am very proud of, says Johan Lenander.

As Tunstall is a global company with operations in many markets, some of the business may be affected.

- More elderly and disabled people may need care as a result of the war. This could put more pressure on staff, who are already dealing with the challenges of demographic change. This is where Tunstall can make a difference. We contribute with innovative technology. We relieve the burden on society. We free up time for staff and increase security and independence for users. It is important that we listen to our customers' needs for support in this situation. We are a tech company with a warm heart.

What is your call to action for other tech companies that want to help?
- I would encourage everyone to work together. We need to pass on knowledge and create understanding of what tech can contribute. When we share experiences and innovate, we add value and create new opportunities. I am therefore convinced that we in the tech industry have a lot to gain from harnessing the skills injection that people from Ukraine can bring. Offering refugees jobs creates a more stable and secure life for them, while developing the industry. Our sector is growing. Together we are making a difference!
