Three new members join the board of TechSverige

At the annual meeting on May 16, three new members were elected to the board of TechSverige. The new members are Sophia Wikander, CEO Microsoft Sweden, Leif Alama, CEO CGI Sweden and Anna Kleine, CEO Fellowmind Sweden. Per Wallentin was re-elected as Chairman. It was also decided to reduce membership fees for 2025 for members with employer services and collective agreements.

- We are pleased to welcome Sophia Wikander, Leif Alama and Anna Kleine to the board. With their knowledge and experience, they will contribute important perspectives and valuable insights in TechSverige's work to create the best conditions for the tech industry to contribute to Sweden's economy, jobs, welfare and competitiveness. Continuing to support member companies so that they can be attractive employers through good employer service will be central to TechSverige's member service and work in the future, says Åsa Zetterberg, Association Director at TechSverige.

TechSverige's board is elected annually at the annual meeting. It is the nomination committee that puts forward proposals for members, which the members then vote on.

- We live in a time when new technologies and the pace of digital transformation are very fast. At the same time, we are facing a greatly increased need for cybersecurity and increased need for technical skills. I look forward to working with my board colleagues to promote the healthy development of the industry and the industry's solutions by sharing experiences and driving issues such as skills development, education, cybersecurity and how we jointly use technological development to help create increased productivity and innovation in Sweden," says Sophia Wikander, CEO Microsoft Sweden.

- I thank you for the confidence and look forward to contributing to the important issues that TechSverige is driving. I have been in this industry for my entire professional life, an industry that has always been and is exciting and which is only becoming more and more important for our society. In the transformative times we now live in, I hope to be able to contribute to a more secure and sustainable society going forward, says Leif Alama, CEO, CGI Sweden.

- I am pleased and honored to have been elected as a new board member of TechSverige. Together with industry colleagues, I look forward to working to promote the industry and thus do something really good for Sweden. Alone is not so strong, but together we can drive initiatives that make Sweden the world-leading technology nation we should be. TechSverige is driving many issues that are particularly close to my heart, such as skills development, skills supply and the fact that it is an industry for everyone. So it is with great commitment and a lot of heart that I step into this new assignment, says Anna Kleine, CEO, Fellowmind Sweden.

During the Annual General Meeting, it was also decided to reduce the membership fee for 2025 by 10% for members with employer services and collective agreements. Read more here
