Five questions for Einar Humlin

TechSverige is in the process of creating its own employer organization. Head of negotiations Einar Humlin has the usual focus on supporting member companies and is looking forward to an intense period.

- "It is extremely exciting to be involved in creating our own professional negotiation and employer activities adapted specifically for tech, IT and telecom companies. It is a great honor to have received the confidence of TechSverige's board, says Einar Humlin.

What takes up most of your time at the moment?

- As always, my main focus is on providing advice and support to our member companies on negotiation and labor law issues.

What do you see as the tech industry's most important issues right now?

- I know that attracting and retaining staff is a priority for companies. Then there are many who are now working on, among other things, the salary review, strategies to sharpen their organizations and acquisitions of companies.

What milestones related to collective agreements does TechSverige have ahead of it?

 - In the spring, we will start work on creating our own cooperation agreement with our counterparts for the development of the tech industry. We have many common interests, such as the issue of skills supply, but also other work to ensure that collective agreements remain interesting and relevant to companies in the tech industry.

"Our members don't have to do anything because of the decision to leave the collaboration with Almega"

Einar Humlin, Head of Negotiations, TechSverige

How will you and the rest of the negotiating team work for the next round?

- As always, we will work closely with our members and ensure that there is close cooperation with the Board and the agreement and negotiation delegation appointed for the 2025 agreement negotiations. During the autumn, there will be goal and strategy work as a natural part of our preparations. But it is also important that we monitor the world around us and ensure that relations with our counterparts are in place to avoid unnecessary deadlocks and conflicts in the negotiations, while at the same time we want to listen to companies' needs for development and change.

What role will TechSverige play for Sweden's tech companies in the coming years?

  - Our ambition is to work more business-oriented and member-oriented now that we are creating our own complete industry and employer organization. In this way, we make a difference for member companies through our expertise. By always being purposefully relevant and value-creating for companies on the issues they want us to prioritize, we can take a lead and help the tech industry's companies grow and develop.

Finally, I would also like to emphasize that our members do not need to do anything as a result of the decision to leave the collaboration with Almega. They are still members of TechSverige and will receive the same support and service as before - but from January 1, 2025 directly from me, my colleagues at TechSverige.
