Welcome Siri Åhlmans!

TechSverige continues to sharpen its operations and develop a high-quality and industry-oriented employer service. Meet Siri Åhlmans, one of the new top recruits who will be the responsible employment lawyer for the western region.

Can you tell us about yourself and your background?

- I'm from Gothenburg and moved to Stockholm to study law. After finishing my studies, I worked for a couple of years in the Svenska spel group and then felt it was time to move back home. I moved down to Gothenburg again in 2018 and worked at Setterwalls before working as an employment lawyer and head of labor issues at Byggföretagen with responsibility for the western region. 

You have been recruited to be responsible for the Western Region. What does that mean?



- I will be part of a strong employer service team but will be responsible for the activities in the west and above all be the contact person for our members in the west. I will sit in the Platinum together with other associations within the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise. I hope to be able to create a good context for our members in the west and offer the best possible employer service. 

What attracted you to the position? 


- I'm really looking forward to working with the tech industry. It is a growing industry with a high pace and a lot of expertise. I also find it extremely fun to work closely with members on their business issues and support in labor law challenges. In addition, TechSverige is currently in a very exciting phase and it is a pleasure to be part of that journey. 

What do you prefer to do when you are not working?

- Dreaming of a hiking trip to the Alps!
